Project Description
This is an instructional video developed from a WikiHow article on pour-over coffee that can be found here. The target audience is coffee drinkers, 30-45 yrs. old with a gross income of 70k/yr, that are considering making or learning how to make pour-over coffee. In order to create the video, a storyboard and script were developed based on the instructions provided. Carefully selected camera angles were used to draw attention to equipment and processes to maintain the focus and engagement of the audience. A storytelling element was also included to create a relatable experience, which can also help engage learners

Above is the final edit of the instructional video with foley and music bed. Motion graphics and editing were done by the author. For the best listening experience, please wear headphones. The on-screen audio and narration were both recorded off camera with a lavalier mic to maintain audio integrity throughout the edits. Post-processing consisted of taking the original audio through Adobe Audition for compression, equalization, limiting, and normalization.
Video, editing, sound, and motion graphics were created by Carson Wampler
