Project Description
The following is a concept training needs analysis (TNA) with three accompanying training modules on the topic of environmental sustainability. This corporate training is designed for new and existing employees between the ages of 25 and 35 (digital natives).
Learning Outcomes
Understanding and reiterating how plants, animals, and the environment are affected by businesses
Developing and demonstrating a deeper understanding of their role in changing the environment through everyday decisions
Understanding and articulating how to become more thoughtful citizens of the planet and their local communities
Identifying what can happen if environmental concerns are ignored

These outcomes are achieved through the delivery of three training modules: an interactive infographic, an educational game, and an instructional video.
Interactive Infographic
Above is the interactive infographic that demonstrates the effect business can have on the environment and what steps the company takes to reduce or eliminate them. The "hotspot" interactivity was created through the Adapt Learning Framework and the module can be accessed live at the following link: Staying Green by Going Green
Educational Game
Above is the presentation for the game-based learning (GBL) module. It takes inspiration from simulation and role-playing games that focus on world building.
Above is a screenshot of the isometric illustration process for the graphic elements featured in the presentation.
Instructional Video
Above is the instructional video that goes into the specifics of company policy and how the viewer can participate in the effort to reduce environmental impact. It is considerate of the modality effect and uses minimal on-screen text, relying on narration paired with video and motion graphics to communicate information.
Training Needs Analysis
Above is the training needs analysis that was developed prior to the creation of the learning modules. It features the learning principles and peer reviewed research that reinforces the validity of the learning modules for this particular training and audience.
