Project Description
This is an LMS concept for a course on Kerning that would take place within a higher education graphic design curriculum. The target audience are students in the United States of the ages 18-25 that have already taken an introduction to typography course. The course uses engaging visual elements, social learning, and variety of interactive assessments to meet learning outcomes. The outcomes for this course will ensure students:
Know what kerning is and why its important
How to identify poor kerning
How to correct poor kerning
Canvas was chosen as the LMS for this concept because of its standing in the higher education industry, variety of assessments, ease of use, and free access. The course can be accessed here.
